More people with common mental health problems will receive help to overcome anxiety, stress or depression thanks to an innovative new-look wellbeing service launched by Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) today (1 September).
An improved Wellbeing service, which offers a range of specialist support for common mental health problems, is reaching more people than ever before after recording an increase of 35% in the number accessing treatment in the three months since its launch.
Thousands more people with common mental health problems will receive specialist help to overcome anxiety, stress or depression following the launch of an innovative new-look Wellbeing Service across Norfolk and Waveney today (1 September).
Richard Bridges has a clear message for anyone who feels unhappy with their lot.
“If you feel aggrieved about something, don’t just sit there whingeing that things aren’t working for you – get involved and have your say. You might just make a difference.”
People from across Norfolk and Waveney are being given the opportunity to take part in a bespoke workshop where they can learn more about common mental health issues, where to go for help and how to get the most from the treatments available.
